About Us

The Friends of St Luke’s is a registered charity (RCN : 20009458 / CHY5854 / CRO86021) established in 1981. Over five decades, it has provided a vital source of funding and support in the care, cure and comfort of the patients at St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network Dublin and also clinical research at the St Luke’s Institute of Cancer Research.

A key goal of our charity is for cancer patients to have as much access as possible to the advances in techniques and equipment that exist today in cancer treatment, which in turn lead to more sophisticated and successful cancer treatment. That, coupled with helping to provide the best patient experience possible at St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network, is what drives us to continue this important work every day.

The St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network comprises three cancer treatment centres in Dublin – St Luke’s Hospital in Rathgar (including Oakland Lodge), St. Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at St James’s Hospital and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centre at Beaumont Hospital.

Our charity has run hundreds of events over the years and raised millions of euros thanks to the generous support and fundraising efforts of people all over Ireland and abroad. You can see where the fund raising money has made such a difference to the patient cancer treatment journey at (https://www.friendsofstlukes.ie/category/projects-the-friends-support/).

Giving a little of your time and effort helps so many people going through difficult cancer treatment.

Thank you for your continued support – you truly are making a difference!
