Founded in 1981, the Friends of St Luke’s is a registered charity (RCN: 20009458 / CHY 5854 / CRO 86021). Over the past four decades, we have been a vital source of funding for life-saving cancer treatments, patient comfort, and research projects at St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network and the St Luke’s Institute of Cancer Research.
Our goal is clear: ensure that cancer patients have access to the most advanced treatments available. By supporting innovative therapies and equipment, we help improve treatment outcomes and the overall patient experience at St Luke’s.
In partnership with St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network we select major projects for support across three main areas:
We also support families and patients in need through our Cancer Care Fund. Our Lodge, located adjacent to St Luke’s Hospital Rathgar, has provided a vital provision of free accommodation Monday to Friday for patients receiving radiation treatment who need to travel for care.
