ProKnow – Turning Patient Data into Better Care at St Luke’s

Each year, more than 5,000 patients receive treatment at St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON). Every one of those treatments holds valuable information that can help improve care — but until now, much of that insight has been difficult to bring together and learn from.

In 2025, The Friends of St Luke’s funded ProKnow, a new software platform that is changing that.

ProKnow allows clinical teams to securely bring patient data into one place, making it easier to see patterns, learn what works best, and continuously improve how radiotherapy is delivered. It helps ensure that care is consistent across all SLRON centres, and that every patient benefits from the latest knowledge and expertise.

For patients, this means more informed treatment decisions and a higher standard of care. It also means that their experience can help shape better treatments for those who come after them.

The platform is also strengthening collaboration between hospitals, making it easier for specialists to share knowledge and review cases together.

Thanks to our supporters generosity, every patient’s experience can now contribute to better care — both today and for the future.
