Immobilisation Equipment for Radiotherapy

The use of immobilisation devices to aid in the positioning of patients for radiotherapy has become routine over the past number of decades.  The main objective of these devices are to help the patient maintain a specific position for the duration of the treatment and to improve the reproducibility of the planned position at each visit.  In doing so, the delivered treatment will more accurately reflect the planned treatment, ensuring that it is delivered safely and effectively and will improve the patient experience.
