D Ward has been completely renovated and refurbished costing €750,000 including a new state of the art Negative Pressure Isolation Room. From floors to ceilings, safety fire doors, electrics to new nurses station. All bathrooms were replaced, doors enlarged to permit easy access to wheelchair users and additional hand hygiene sinks in all rooms. D Ward is now bright, modern and fully compliant with all health and hygiene regulations ensuring patient comfort and care.
