The Convention Centre Dublin will host its first and only gala charity event IRELAND STANDS UP TO CANCER on Saturday 2nd October as part of its launch celebrations. This stunning new conference venue is located on the River Liffey and this groundbreaking event is the first of its kind in Ireland. With sponsorship so generously provided by the Convention Centre all monies raised will be supporting the work of four key charities involved in the area of cancer, both support and research. The Friends of St Luke's annual sponsored walks continue to be very popular and raise considerable funds for St Luke's Hospital.
The Judge Family Collections Countrywide 27/10/2010
The Judge Family from Edenderry, Co Offaly have been collecting for The Friends of St Luke's for over 25 years in memory of their Mother Susan Judge RIP. They have raised over €250,000 for St Luke's over the years in a, standing shaking their boxes in all kinds of weathers.
