St Luke's Hospital, Rathgar

St Lukes's Hospital first opened its doors in 1952.  For year's cancer services were underfunded due to lack of Government finances.  In 1981, The Friends of St Luke's was established to help fund new cancer treatment equipment at the hospital.

In the 1990's the hospital, with the help of The Friends, embarked on a major upgrade of all facilities.  Now patients and visitors are pleasantly surprised by the grounds and environment.  The objective of these enhancements was to improve the patient experience.
