The oldest conventional simulator (Elekta) in St Luke’s was replaced with a second large bore CT simulator and associated virtual simulation workstation. This CT for therapeutic purposes was funded by The Friends.
The first CT which The Friends funded in 2004 had a very positive impact on the range of complex treatments provided for the patients at St Luke's. This second CT will further improve services.
