I am delighted to have been recently elected as the new Chairman of the Council of The Friends of St Luke’s Hospital.

Dear Friends,

 

After twelve years as Chairman of the Friends of St. Luke’s, I am stepping down from the post which I have been privileged to hold. Moving forward, the Board has elected our current Treasurer , Peter Byers, as Chairman.

Mr David O'Halloran has resigned as Chairman of The Friends after 12 years of excellent service to the Hospital.

We are very sorry to have lost David as Chairman but we are delighted that he will continue to be a member of the Friends Council.  During his 12 year tenure, The Friends supported the Hospital with €12 million towards much needed projects to improve patient care and delivery.  An incredible achievement !  We wish David every success in the future and thank him for his dedication and support.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome to Mr Peter Byers, The Friends new Chairman.  I have no doubt Peter will be a great asset to The Friends who will continue, under his leadership, to play a vital role in fundraising for much needed projects in the Hospital.
